Coir Mesh
(Geo-Textile)

Protect and stabilize soil naturally with our durable coir mesh geotextile.

Engineered to reinforce surfaces, control erosion, and support vegetation growth for healthier landscapes.

Available Grades

Coir Mesh (C4)

Coir Mesh C4 is a lightweight, open-weave geotextile made from 100% natural coir fibers. With a high open area (~64%), it is ideal for low-erosion environments where quick vegetation establishment is needed. Common applications include landscaping, golf courses, and gentle slopes. It allows excellent water infiltration and decomposes slowly, enriching the soil over time. C4 is easy to install and provides cost-effective erosion control for low-risk areas.

Coir Mesh (C7)

C7 is a medium-weight coir mesh designed for moderate erosion control on slopes, embankments, and riverbanks. Its tighter weave and increased tensile strength make it suitable for areas exposed to higher water flow or wind. With about 50% open area, it balances soil retention and plant growth support. It is widely used in wetland restoration, mine reclamation, and infrastructure projects. C7 offers long-lasting, biodegradable protection while improving site stability.

Coir Mesh (C9)

Coir Mesh C9 is a heavy-duty geotextile best suited for critical erosion control on steep slopes, high-flow channels, and coastal areas. Its dense weave (open area ~38%) provides maximum soil retention while still supporting vegetation growth. C9 is commonly used in road construction, shoreline reinforcement, and steep embankment stabilization. With high tensile strength and long degradation time, it offers robust, sustainable protection in the most demanding environments.

Practical Uses in the Field

Slope Stabilization

Coir mesh is commonly used on cut slopes, embankments, and hillsides where loose topsoil is vulnerable to erosion. The open-weave structure traps sediment while allowing moisture and air to penetrate, creating a microenvironment that supports root establishment. Over 18–36 months, the mesh biodegrades, leaving behind a stable, vegetated slope.

Landscaping & Golf Course Contouring

In aesthetic and recreational landscapes, coir mesh is used to stabilize mounds, berms, and water features. It blends well with natural surroundings, supports turf or native planting, and prevents soil erosion in high-use or irrigated areas without the need for permanent synthetic materials.

Mine Site Rehabilitation

After mining or excavation activities, soil is often unstable and vegetation sparse. Coir mesh can be laid over reclamation areas to prevent washout, protect seed beds, and retain moisture. Its biodegradable nature aligns with environmental compliance goals, supporting progressive rehabilitation efforts.
